Simply Seattle

How to do Seattle in 36 hours.  Our voyage was winding down, but we still had a lot on our schedule.
Arriving in the late afternoon we made a stop at the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Gardens.

Beyond the gardens are the locks and the fish ladder.  The salmon aren't running this time of year, but steel head were jumping out of the water.

Pike Place Market - opened 1907

the famous "fish catch"

I so wanted to bring this little man
home, but the owner wouldn't
part with him.

Vancouver BC or bust...

Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.
Inside the elevator of our hotel.  How appropriate.

Beautiful Stanley Park

Sculpture, Girl in the Wetsuit

We took 3500 pictures on our trip.  I won't show them all I promise, but I just had to share these amazing pictures from the aquarium at Stanley Park.  These were taken with an iPhone against the glass.

Did you notice that this little frog is riding on the back of a snake.

30 foot giant octopus.
